Abstract
Interpretation is one of the matters that is mixed with the history of Muslim belief and thought, and it is rare to find a commentator who has not attempted to interpret some of the verses of the Quran. Among these verses that most commentators have attempted to interpret is verse 75 of Surah S. However, these interpretations, which are diverse apart from their intellectual origins, are typically devoid of any evidence; therefore, the issue under study is what are the commentators' interpretations of Yadiya in verse 75 of Surah S.? The research method is descriptive-analytical and library. The results of the research indicate that the commentators have expressed various interpretations such as utmost care and attention, honor and veneration, power and additional power, and the light of Muhammad and the black light of Satan. An evaluation of the commentators' views indicates that the commentators' interpretations, without considering the linguistic evidence of the Surah, include the issue of context; Because in some verses of this Surah, including the verses that refer to creation and conquest, there is evidence that God's purpose in these verses is to express creation rather than the quality of creation. Another criticism of the interpretations is the lack of consideration for the customs of the Arabic language; because the interpretation presented must be in line with the rules of the language and in terms of interpretation it must be in accordance with it. Another criticism is related to the lack of attention to the art
