This article, focusing on the status of the human being within the interpretive system of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, seeks to conceptually explain and theoretically analyze Qur’anic interpretations regarding human identity, innate nature (fiṭrah), and ultimate purpose. The primary objective is to examine how Qur’anic anthropology is formulated in light of the principles of Transcendent Philosophy (ḥikmat-i muta‘āliyah), Islamic mysticism, and hermeneutical exegesis. Adopting an analytical and conceptual approach, the article reconstructs Javadi Amoli's intellectual system in the realm of hermeneutics. It analyzes key concepts such as divine vicegerency (khilāfah), sacred intellect, monotheistic nature (fiṭrah), and substantial motion, presenting the human being not only as an interpreter of the Qur’an but also as a subject of interpretation.

The methodology of interpretation in his thought is grounded in the interplay of reason, spiritual intuition, and inner wayfaring, closely intertwined with ontological and epistemological foundations. This structure forms the anthropological framework of Qur’anic hermeneutics. The article highlights the role of the Perfect Human as a mirror of the Divine Names and a medium of Divine manifestation, offering a hermeneutical rereading of the human being as God’s vicegerent and proposing a unitive model of inner Qur’anic understanding. The findings of this study provide a foundation for the development of an interpretive anthropological system within contemporary Islamic theology.
