Abstract

Persuasion is considered as one of the influential components in society, during which an individual or group, using communication methods, tries to change the attitude, belief, or behavior of others, followed by acceptance or implementation of the new point of view by the audience. There are six theories related to theoretical models of persuasion:1. Howland et al.'s persuasion model. 2. The discourse-action system. 3. The truth-telling model of cognitive interpretation. 4. The cognitive dissonance model. 5. The systematic intuition model. 6. The attitude-behavior process method model. 7. The depth of processing model. In this study, Howland's persuasion model and the discourse-action system have been used, which emphasizes elements such as "message", "message source", "message transmission channel", and "audience".The present study has extracted the persuasive elements used in these verses by examining the verses containing "Yaselunak". One of the most important components of persuasion in these verses is the expertise and knowledge of God as the source of the message. In addition, other persuasive elements such as the attractiveness of the source of the message, the good nature and kindness of the messenger are also important
