Abstract:

The interpretations of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) as the heirs of the knowledge of prophecy and the true interpreters of the Quran, play a key role in explaining the inner layers of the Quranic verses and reveal concepts such as guardianship, guidance, and continuity of prophethood. This study aims to examine the interpretations of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) about the position of guardianship in selected verses of Surahs Taha and Maryam and analyze their position in the connection between the Quran, prophecy, and the guidance of the Islamic nation. The method of this study is analytical-descriptive and, using reliable interpretative and hadith sources, it has categorized the interpretations of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) into spiritual-symbolic, allegorical-symbolic, epistemological, and application and application.

The results of the study show that the interpretations of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) shed light on the depth of the concepts of guardianship in the verses and introduce guardianship as one of the basic pillars of divine guidance and the continuity of the mission of the prophets. This study emphasizes that without utilizing the interpretations of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.), understanding the teachings of the Quran will be incomplete. Furthermore, these interpretations have clarified the relationship between the position of guardianship and concepts such as infallibility, divine proximity, and guidance of the nation in all its dimensions, and have helped to explain the position of guardianship as the axis of human guidance.
