Abstract
In his works, particularly in Fihi Ma Fihi, Rumi emphasizes the mystical and Quranic concepts surrounding prophethood as central to understanding truth and human perfection. He posits that prophets are not merely intermediaries for conveying divine revelation; rather, they are individuals who attain the absolute truth and divine light by transcending human limitations. This research, conducted through a descriptive-analytical methodology, explores the Quranic aspects of prophetic thought in Rumi's writings, with particular focus on Fihi Ma Fihi. The findings indicate that Rumi addresses various facets of prophethood, including revelation, inspiration, and the spiritual status of saints in relation to prophets, elucidating their roles as spiritual and moral guides for humanity. Furthermore, he does not confine revelation solely to prophets, asserting that saints and spiritually advanced individuals can also receive inspiration or inner revelation. This study demonstrates how Rumi employs Quranic teachings to strengthen and articulate his mystical perspectives, presenting prophethood as an exemplar of human perfection and a pathway to divine knowledge and ethical living.
